Buy a crib is probably the first reaction of most prospective parents, who prepare their child's room to fool their impatience. But beware of reckless impulses: to buy a crib requires a bit of rigor to ensure then to the infant comfort and safety.
Buy Crib presupposes aesthetic choices, but also rigorous in monitoring safety standards. Many accidents occur because of baby equipment unsuitable. Buy a cot presupposes a minimum of care.
To purchase a crib that will minimize as much as possible the risk of accidents, we should outlaw any product not clearly displaying the initials NF. Moreover, in the case of a purchase of traditional wooden bed, the spaces between the bars should be measured, and lie between 4.5 and 6.5 cm. The bars must of course be secured. The surface of the cot must be perfectly smooth to avoid any risk of ingestion of paint or splinters. Parents also prefer a bed with rounded shapes. We can finally buy a used crib, and paint using stencils provided to select lead-free paint and let a period of at least one month before use.
